Highlands Crossing Condominiums; Denver, Colorado-Structural engineering for a three-story apartment/townhome project over a subgrade parking garage.  The construction consisted of two different building heights a total of four building with various unit layouts.  The roof consisted of wood roof trusses; I-joist and steel beam floor structures and a mildly reinforced concrete slab for the first floor structure over the parking garage.  The foundation systems were comprised of spread footings.

Morahan Residence, Cherry Hills Village, CO

              

Morahan Residence; Cherry Hills, Denver, Colorado; Structural Engineering and site grading & drainage for an approximately 10,000-sf two-story wood frame residence.  Construction consisted of wood roof trusses, 2x6 stud walls, pre-manufactured I-joists, first and second floor framing, steel structural basement floor and drilled pier foundation system.  In the basement special consideration was given to 20' high poured in place concrete walls surrounding a racquetball court, special steel structures to support a retractable basketball hoop and backboard in the racquetball court and various steppings in the basement floor for home theater, billiards rooms etc.  Attached to the south end of the home was a pool house where a structural slab was provided all around the pool supporting the walls of the pool as well as providing a stable floor system that would not heave or crack

Terrace @ Green Mountain, Lakewood, CO

                    

Terrace @ Green Mountain Townhomes/Condominiums; Lakewood, Colorado-Structural engineering for a multi-family project that included three multi-story condominium buildings and 4-three-story townhome buildings.  The townhome buildings were two different building types ranging from four to six units, two floors of living space over garage area.  The condominium buildings were three to four-story in height with wood frame construction, PT slab over subgrade parking garages.  The townhome buildings utilized wood I-joists and wood roof trusses and spread footing foundation systems.  The condominium buildings utilized wood roof trusses, wood floor trusses and drilled pier foundation systems.
